It snowed two weeks ago in New York. Since then, the temperature has barely risen above freezing – a temperature science naturally dictates is necessary to melt snow and ice.

Science just isn’t enough for some US political critics. however, who have instead blamed Zohran Mamdani, New York’s new socialist mayor.

There really are some nutjobs out there!

I grew up in New York City. Snow removal was problematic under every mayor, esp after big dumps. Uh, that's why alternate side parking is required. To blame it on Mamdani is more ridiculous than anything I ever heard. Right up there with Trump's magic marker chart that liberals are controlling the weather! Absolute nonsense from dingbats who've got nothing better to do. Let this guy do his job--or not. Time will tell. Better tell him to stop with the snow already, eh!
