As Vietnam prepares for Tết, the Lunar New Year, the country is keen on transforming the resolutions from the 14th National Party Congress into action. Party General Secretary Tô Lâm expressed the commitment to implementing the Congress’s decisions promptly and effectively, highlighting the need for swift national development. The resolutions aim to foster growth, with comprehensive support for underprivileged communities and rebuilding efforts following recent natural disasters.

The focus on turning resolutions into tangible outcomes emerged during a post-Congress interview with Vietnam News Agency. The Party’s emphasis is on translating these resolutions into benefits for the population, driving rapid and sustainable development. This approach aligns with their directive for exemplary leadership and dedication from Party members and officials across all sectors.

The government has already rolled out Resolution No. 418/NQ-CP, releasing over VNĐ2.51 trillion from the central budget for various support initiatives. These include providing gifts and financial assistance to disadvantaged groups, ensuring everyone can observe the New Year safely and joyfully. The Việt Nam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations launched the "Compassionate Tết Week" to extend support through community-driven activities.

A significant part of the initiative focuses on rebuilding homes for flood-affected communities. All damaged homes in the central regions have been repaired or reconstructed, a move praised by residents. Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính emphasized the urgency of the “Quang Trung Campaign,” urging for rapid completion of these projects to bring back normalcy to affected families.

This year's new feature, "Bringing a Warm Tết to Every Home," aims to enhance solidarity through community events. Despite challenges, the Vietnamese people remain hopeful, driven by the Party’s leadership and the spirit of unity. The upcoming year is poised to be pivotal for Vietnam's development, promising significant progress in national growth and international integration, reported Vietnam News.

Key Takeaways
