Obama was hopeless like Bush. Clinton caused it though.

Trump has reduced unemployment and inflation at the same time. Real wages are up to.

GDP growth is mostly the top 500 businesses doing well. Nothing much to do with the politicians. It is amazing how you go around talking about Trump and Biden without knowing year 10 economics.

So now you are de facto claiming again that Trump, a politican, is not responsible for the relatively good Q3 number, after having credited him for the same Q3 in a previous post. 😆

GFC - The laziest and most useless topic title in AN history. Of course, the topic that follows is far worse.

Yet another obviously pointless post by you!

It is obvious that your posting behaviour is aimed a number of things;

1, Increase your post count as quickly as possible!

2. Decrease your so called "reputation count" as low and as quickly as possible with your repetitive and insulting responses!

3. Then crow on this forum about both ad infinitum once you achieve those goals.

Dividing countries into three categories—those that were always democracies, those that were always autocracies, and those that changed their status at least once—they found some evidence of leader effects in autocracies and strong evidence of leader effects in transitional countries. They found little evidence of leader effects in democracies, possibly because democracies more consistently select high-quality leaders, meaning that the differences between leaders are less meaningful. or because good institutions can partly counteract the effects of a bad leader.

So leaders are more important in Thailand and Laos. They can influence GDP. Mr Trump can't in any significant way.

Next.

The OP has zero personal knowledge or experience on any topic, so all we get from her are these copy and pasted walls of text (like the one above) that nobody wants, needs, or reads.

I studied economics in 1990. We all knew the private sector drove the economy then. Terry lives in Vietnam and trolls a Thai forum because he can't get a gf.

I’ll let you know if and when you ever get one single thing correct, but so far your batting zero as always, Harriet.

By the way, when are you going to finally publish that master guide book you promised us all about how to bring your site reputation score from 2,500 down to 500 in under week?

All I can say to that is that you must have been looking in the mirror when you thought of that extremely erudite and pointless and repetitive post!

Please try, if at all possible, and respond with something original, meaningful and witty for the first time in your life!

PS; 56 to zero and counting!!!🥳

@scottiejohn has written 9.1k posts since 2015, and you have already made 17.9k posts since February 2025 only!

You repeatedly claim other posters have no life, but it's you spending your miserable life trolling on AN! 😄

Don't let reality and facts get in the way. Be a good MAGA.

Perhaps YOU missed it, but Obama inherited The Great Recession. UE was on the rise when he took over, peaked at near 10%, and fell to 4.8% when he left office, so <5%.

Trump 1.0 inherited that 4.8% UE and left Biden 6.8% UE.

Now what any of that has to do with climate change, I don't know. What I do know is that you are not a climatologist, and the vast majority of actual climatologists believe climate change occurring now is man made.

Covid caused the rise in UE. Trump had it down to 3.5%lol

LOL!

Look at the drop in UE under Obama.

Look at the performance of the stock market under Obama.

Imagine what would have happened if Trump and his Carnival People Administration had been in charge from January 2009, having inherited the Great Recession.

Bush had lower UE lol

Always have excuses for Trump, but no credit for Obama, considering what he inherited, nor for Biden, who had UE under 4% for the longest period in 64 years.

Job creation in Trump's first year was the lowest since 2003.

Total job growth in 2025 (181,000) is less than Biden average per month over his 4 years (187,500).

Job growth in Biden's last year of 2024 was 2,230,000, while Trump's for 2025 was 181,000.

Manufacturing jobs grew 800,000 in Biden's 4 years. They fell in Trump's first year back, and spending on new factories and production facilities also fell, despite Trump's silly tariffs.

Bush left Obama ~9% UE and rising.

Obama 4.7%

Trump 3.5%

Economic cycles. Nothing much to do with the leader. You post endless nonsense.

LOL!

You corrected yourself...a little,,originally saying Obama was never under 5%

Oh, and Trump left 6.8% UE in his wake, which is almost double your delusional figure of 3.5%

And it was Biden, not Trump, who produced the best run under 4% in 64 years.

And let's not forget the S&P under Obama...+181% in his 2 terms.

Folks who road that wave aren't the types scrounging for 500 baht/night flop houses and 30 baht street food.

During Trump's first term, US GDP grew around 7.2%. During Obama's second term, US GDP grew by 7.5%.

Obama wins.

But wait...there's more!

Trump ran up $8,400,000,000,000 in new National Debt, dwarfing his nominal GDP growth of $2.6 trillion.

The growth was not driven by the private sector, but by public sector debt.

S&p500 is 500 large companies. Economic cycles drive the stock market. The market was low in Jan 09 due to the gfc when Obama took office. Then recovered.

Your points are pathetic.

Obama failed to get UE low in 8 years. Pathetic guy.

Trump had it 3.5% in 3 years lol

When Trump left office covid is big time so of cause it was higher DERRR
