A verified video shows 14-year-old Palestinian boy Jad Jadallah shot at close range by Israeli soldiers in the al-Far'a refugee camp in the occupied West Bank last November, then left bleeding on the ground as troops blocked ambulances from reaching him.

According to eyewitnesses and footage reviewed by the BBC, 14 Israeli soldiers formed a cordon around Jad after the shooting. Two Palestinian ambulances were prevented from accessing him for at least 35–45 minutes while he lay wounded in an alley.

CCTV captured the moment three boys peeked around a corner after reports that Israeli military vehicles were leaving the camp. Four soldiers were positioned nearby. Jad’s friends ran; he did not. The footage shows a soldier less than three metres away appearing to raise a rifle and fire. Bullet marks are visible on the wall at the scene.

Additional bystander video shows Jad collapsing after running a few metres. He appears to wave his arms and throw his hat toward the soldiers, who kick it back. His mother said she was blocked from reaching him. Palestinian Red Crescent call logs show an ambulance arrived within eight minutes, but paramedics say they were held at gunpoint about 100 yards away and stopped from providing aid.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) told the BBC soldiers gave “initial medical treatment” after verifying he was not wearing a hidden explosive device, but declined to provide details about the treatment or his injuries. The IDF accused Jad of throwing a rock, which under its rules of engagement can permit lethal force. The military has not returned his body and did not answer questions about how many times he was shot or where he died.

Footage also appears to show a soldier placing an object next to Jad and photographing it. His family alleges it was an attempt to frame him. Shai Parnes of Israeli human rights group B’Tselem said the video appears to show a rock being planted, calling such an act “abysmal,” while noting similar cases have been documented.

The UN says 55 children were killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank last year and 227 since the 7 October 2023 Hamas attack. Israeli authorities are reportedly withholding 776 bodies of Palestinians or other nationals accused or suspected of attacks.

He did not throw a rock at them. They framed him by placing a rock next to the body, as reported by multiple bystanders.

There is no point attempting to justify the IDF. No justification is possible. The issue is Israel has encouraged its citizens to hate the Palestinians and see them as something less than human. Accordingly, the IDF soldiers feel no remorse in their subhuman actions and feel they are perfectly justified. The little humanity they have left, knows they are doing wrong and this is why they try to cover up what they do, e.g. placing rocks next to murdered Palestinians, burying ambulances and lying about the circumstances.

It's very clear to almost all non-Jews/Israeli's that Israel is committing war crimes. Whether it is genocide has yet to be determined. I believe it probably is genocide. I think Israel's strategy is to terrorise the Palestinians by killing them at random, especially women v& children, destroy the bulk of their habitation and children and then offer them relocation to some other country. If that is the strategy, then it meets the test of genocide. All it takes now is that offer to be made and QED it is genocide.

There is also the Jewish Autonomous Oblast in Russia.

Here’s an idea, JAO could absorb the population of Israel and still be less dense than Israel and the Palestinians could then have their land back. Win-win.
