'‘Peace President’ Breaks Record for Attacking the Most Countries'

https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/peace-president-breaks-record-attacking-141532969.html

"Wannabe Nobel Laureate Donald Trump has now ordered more attacks against a greater number of countries than any other president in modern U.S. history."

Yeah. So what?

Read the article. Okay. No surprise.
The claim in that article is opinionated and misleading.

It's good you give credit to BLMFem because it excuses you. The article is useless.

"In the same period, though, he has ordered strikes against targets across no less than seven nations—Iran, Nigeria, Venezuela, Iraq, Somalia, Syria and Yemen."

Yahoo News quoting The Daily Beast! 😵‍💫

A child of seven, maybe six years of age could see through this journalistic masterpiece.

▪️What period of time are these fair and balanced 🤢 news sites measuring? They measured the beginning of Trump's second term only when inherited and new crises erupted like Iran, Venezuela, Islamist in Nigeria, Russia/Ukraine, Hezbollah and the Houthis had to be dealt with immediately.

▪️Counts number of countries with strikes... not considering wars or how many deaths or casualties.

▪️Ignores ongoing wars that spanned across presidencies.

▪️What do they mean by "attack"?

▪️What is being counted? Single drone strikes? Air strikes? How many? Special forces operations? Oh, don't know. "Countries attacked" exaggerates small actions?

Donald Trump
7 strikes (whatever a strike is)
Iraq
Somalia
Syria
Yemen
Iran
Nigeria
Venezuela

Barack Obama
7 strikes (whatever a strike is)
Iraq
Somalia
Syria
Yemen
Afghanistan
Libya
Pakistan

So the number of countries hit by strikes can increase within a very short period of time simply because multiple crises are happening simultaneously, like what happened to Trump.

So I say again to this all headline, no substance, empty argument, narrative in search of evidence... SO WHAT?

Trumps making a lot of Iranian friends recently. I notice they're not chanting biden era "death to America" now. The world loves Trump as do most, EXCEPT for the haters-losers. Must truly suck deeply

Trump isn't smart enough, or simply does not care, what this unnecessary war will incite. More important than his base turning against him, or new critics like Ted Cruz have called Trump's justificat

Which crisis in Venezuela, Nigeria and Iran, that "had to be dealt with immediately", are you referring to?

So let’s be clear - which part are you actually disputing?

  • That GCC countries rely heavily on desalination for their potable water?

How do you know that -- based on your last tour of water desalination facilities in the Mideast?

Its a shocking new thing - called research and learning about an area... That and combined with the fact that those living in the Middle East have not managed to evolve kidneys capable of osmoregulation after consuming seawater.

One final point. Even leaders in "s-hole" countries are not stupid. They see "Iran attacked; North Korea not attacked". The difference is not "love letters", but nukes. Everyone is going to wants their own nukes now.

I would suggest that there is another reason why Iran was attacked and North Korea won't be: Attacking Iran benefits the Jews with their "Greater Israel" project. Attacking North Korea is of no direct benefit to the Jews.

No.

It's nukes.

If Ukraine had keep their nukes, they wouldn't have been attacked either.

Iran will be trying to get nukes harder than ever now and they will get help. Nobody fair can blame them at this point.

As far as your transparent anti-Jewish obsession, Israel's goal is clearly for Iran to become a failed state. That has nothing to do with greater Israel. Israel sees Iran as an existential threat and they're not wrong in thinking that either.

Don't believe anything you see or hear on State Television. They actually ran an old clip. Beyond disgusting and utterly unsurprising.

People seem oddly determined to shoehorn every discussion on Iran to Israel and jews - While there is an overlap, the repetitive framing is getting increasingly ridiculous and misses the actual strategic issue.

The reason nuclear weapons in North Korea don’t dominate global discussions is because the situation is relatively contained both geographically and strategically. North Korea’s nukes primarily threaten its immediate neighbours - South Korea and Japan - and indirectly the United States because of defence treaties.

Over time the region has settled into an uneasy but understood deterrence balance where everyone knows exactly how catastrophic escalation would be. Pyongyang’s nuclear capability is essentially regime survival insurance - a shield to keep the leadership in power - not a tool for projecting ideological influence across a fractured region.

A nuclear-armed Iran would sit in a very different strategic environment. The Middle East already has multiple rival powers, Sunni–Shia divisions, proxy conflicts, and competing ambitions for regional influence, alongside long-standing hostility toward Israel. In that landscape, nuclear capability could quickly trigger others - particularly Saudi Arabia or Turkey - to seek their own nuclear deterrent, turning the region into a multi-state nuclear balance in an area that already sees regular military confrontation.

So the point is simple: North Korea’s nuclear weapons certainly concerns people, but they exist within a relatively contained deterrence structure. The concern with Iran is that it could cascade into a regional nuclear arms race in an already volatile strategic environment.

Agreed - the amount of fake news circulating is despicable. Substituting old footage like this is not only disingenuous but outright dishonest, and frankly stupid. Do the people in these newsrooms really think viewers won’t notice or eventually find out? It suggests either arrogance or incompetence.

That said, Trump keeping his hat on during a ceremony like this is casual and disrespectful in that context. It’s exactly the kind of careless behaviour that makes him so divisive - he often ends up being his own worst enemy in public.

None of that means his response in this conflict is necessarily wrong. But on a personal level, his conduct can be pretty abominable.

Smart move by Trump, replacing a Khamenei with a Khamenei. Now the world doesn't have to worry. Regime change complete.

Replaced by a Khamenei who's father was murdered by the Americans so he won't have any grudges or anything.

Brilliantly well thought out plan, well done Trump - the Peace President!

From The Wizard of Oz script (1939):

Dorothy Gale: I thought you said she was dead.

(Good Witch) Glinda: That was her sister, the Wicked Witch of the East. This is the Wicked Witch of the West and she's worse than the other one was.

I think at some point Putin will be talking to Trump about ending this conflict.

Russia and Iran are allies and Putin needs to be seen to do something.

I don’t see direct involvement but I do see threats and some other action.

U.S. Tomahawk Hit Naval Base Beside Iranian School, Video Shows

The evidence contradicts President Trump’s claim that Iran was responsible for a strike at the school that killed 175 people, most of them children.

NYTimes via

https://archive.ph/IJMSp#selection-547.0-551.148

A newly released video adds to the evidence that an American missile likely hit an Iranian elementary school where 175 people, many of them children, were reported killed.

The video, uploaded on Sunday by Iran’s semiofficial Mehr News Agency and verified by The New York Times, shows a Tomahawk cruise missile striking a naval base beside the school in the town of Minab on Feb. 28. The U.S. military is the only force involved in the conflict that uses Tomahawk missiles.

A body of evidence assembled by The Times — including satellite imagery, social media posts and other verified videos — indicates that the Shajarah Tayyebeh elementary school building was severely damaged by a precision strike that occurred at the same time as attacks on the naval base. The Times analysis of the video shows the missile striking a building described as a medical clinic in the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps base. (still shot from video)

I'm sure he's ready to start talks about Iran's unconditional surrender forthwith!

Take aways on the strikes on Iran, A History of repeated provocations being ignored by the international left here all in a effort to boost the sympathy for a authoritarian regime .Stop propping up *"religious Nazi" as the Senator from the USA says.

The regime has long prioritized ideological/anti Western/anti Israel expansionism over its people's welfare , a strategy that has provoked repeated ignored warnings, built sympathy in some quarters for an authoritarian theocracy as a resistance force, and now faces direct military consequences.

The Iranian people's quoted frustration shows that many inside the country see this as unsustainable tyranny. Billions sent to the regime, for what?

"They have been telling us to tolerate the situation for 43 years. We are frustrated and disillusioned because we have no freedom and no economy. The tyranny of the rulers has become unbearable, even breathing has become difficult in this country.”
