According to complaints sent to the 501C non-profit, Military Religious Freedom Foundation, military commanders who are members of Hegseth's Christian brotherhood are telling their non-commissioned officers that the strike on Iran was "all part of God's diven plan," and that "President Trump has been anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth."

So we are told that the Iranians are a bunch of crazy Islamic religious zealots - by a bunch of crazy Christian dispensationalist zealots telling their troops that they are ushering in the return of Jesus Christ. This reads better than dystopian fiction. The United States is being led into war by Christian dispensationalist evangelicals in Hegseth's Department of War. And "oh by the way," the US military isn't suppose to force a particular religious ideology on its members, yet here we are!

In my opinion, the Trump administration is a danger to the entire world. This is chilling.

The complaints are being send to Military Religious Freedom Foundation and honestly need to be forwarded to those in Congress and the Senate who are not themselves second-coming Christian zealots.

I'm wondering how many of the Trump fan-boys here on AN are cheering the unprovoked war of aggression by the US on Iran in order to usher in the second coming of Jesus Christ?

I can only imagine the discrimination that Islamic members of the US military are now going to experience. And for that matter, all members who are non-Christian or secular. For all the propaganda we now here about the evils of a (Iranian) theocracy, and we find the US military is in fact aligned to Postmillennialist and Dispensationalist Christian theocracy.

"Mikey Weinstein, founder and president of MRFF, a nonprofit group established 21 years ago that focuses on ensuring constitutional protections for service members, spoke with HuffPost by phone Tuesday morning and illuminated some details of the complaints, which have come from more than three dozen military units situated in at least 30 different military installations.

“We started getting calls in the wee hours of Saturday morning from people saying their commanders were just jubilant about this and trying to tell people, ‘Don’t worry, it’s all part of God’s plan,’” Weinstein said.

“This is all about time, place and manner,” he said. “If you’re being proselytized to by your superior, you can’t say, ‘Get out of my face.’ Under the military’s criminal code of justice, insubordination is considered a felony.”

Your tax dollars at work supporting Christian zealot military commanders proselytizing Christianity to their troops. Good grief. Not a good time to be a member of the US military.

Basically you have military commanders violating their oaths to uphold the Constitution, which guarantees the freedom of religion, by forcing their Christian views on to their troops.
