Russia Is Providing Iran Intelligence To Target U.S. Forces

This shouldn't surprise anyone, though I suspect it surprises Trump.

We should also be concerned that Trump cannot keep his mouth shut and has already announced Cuba is next.

I can see another Cuban Missile Crisis, if Russia chooses to make sure Cuba can fight back. I do not know Cuba's missile capability, but surely Russia would make sure Cuba has the necessary firepower to reach Mar-a-Lago.

Totally agree with you there. The loudmouth cannot help himself, has to be the centre of attention.. But then again anyone with half a brain knows the grifter is not that bright. Basically it is only a figurehead for Miller and co.

Russia has its own problems in Ukraine. It cannot support the Cubans. It can't even provide them with oil, let alone missiles.

Most Americans fail to understand Trump will send the USA into bankruptcy with his policies. He has had plenty of practice.

The U.S. is providing Ukraine with intelligence to target Russian forces, while Russia is providing Iran with intelligence to target U.S. forces. It seems fair to me. Moreover, it would be fair for Russia to provide weapons to Iran, just as the U.S. provides weapons to Ukraine.

Two points --

it might be more "fair" if Trump wasn't working against Ukraine and for Russia in that war.

Always repeating Kremlin talking points, pressuring Ukraine to surrender and insulting Zelinskyy, and NEVER pressuring Russis or insulting Putin.

Also, the USA provides NO weapons to Ukraine.

It does SELL weapons to other countries that then those countries being decent and on the right side give to Ukraine.

Trump disgusts me as much as Putin.

Typo in your 2nd to last line, surely.

Oopsie. Thanks. Corrected.

In fact, they have been providing weapons for free under the Biden administration. American-supplied weapons have already killed Russian invaders. In a reciprocal response, Russian-provided weapons have the right to kill U.S. invaders.

And here the spokesperson for Trump says it doesn't matter. I repeat; the Trump administration says Russia giving coordinates of US military assets, enabling Iran to kill US personnel, means nothing!

You obviously posted in the PRESENT tense so I call total B.S.

Which brings up another thing that Putin boot licker Trump is clearly doing. He already knows that things are not going to be easy against Iran as he idiotically first thought, so he's already blaming both Biden and Zelinskyy for any possible perception of struggle or failure.

As far as the reason for the war of choice. A strong case can be made that it makes some sense for Israel. No case can be made that it makes sense for the USA.

When Trump was confronted with it he became upset. Not at Putin (never at Putin), but at the reporter.

Trump is a Russian asset!

Trump proving yet again what a totally disgusting unfit for any office person that he is.

As a further token of their appreciation that Russia is giving Iran precise target data on US targets, allowing the Iranian to efficiently and humanely to kill Americans, Trump has further lifted sanctions on the sale of Russian oil!

Go, MAGA!

It appears that the main "winner" in this war is going to be Russia.

This is sick and grotesque. The muppet that currently occupies the office of Sec. Def. says he's not concerned about this and then proceeds to talk about killing as many Iranians as possible.

There needs to be a regime change.

Absolutely right. Trump is lifting sanctions on Putin and depleting the stock of Patriot missiles.

Axis of evil -- Trump era style.

It's a sickening feeling being a national of such a badly behaving nation.

Donald Trump Has Lit A Global Match

If Trump insists on steamrolling over other countries, the United States will eventually discover—like Napoleon’s France, Hitler’s Germany, and Stalin’s Soviet Union before it—that other countries always have options to resist. https://trib.al/vX7Vv65

If, instead, he wants to team up with autocrats to share the spoils earned by plundering and coercing weaker nations, Trump will join Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin in ushering in a new age of corrupt authoritarianism unseen since the Middle Ages.

Trump can bluster all he wants about how the US has "unlimited" weaponry it can unleash on Iran, but the Iranians will not be listening to him. They will be listening to Russia.

Russian intel services likely know the full extent of the US' arsenal. Russia may not know how many Sig P226s the US military has, but regarding major weapons, Russia would know in fine detail. Russia can also count. They know how many missiles have been fired, how many Cruise and Tomahawk missiles, how many air based missiles have been fired, how many Patriots, etc. Russian intel would also know how many Patriots, etc., Israel still has as well as the Gulf nations.

Likely all of that will have been shared with Iran. Iran will know which targets have been weakened, as well as how long the US can continue to strike, absent the use of nukes. Iran can engage in a war of attrition.

Iran can also engage in a war of economics, as in using $20K drones to force the US, Israel and the GCC nations to burn through their limited supply of $ million and $ billion systems.

It would seem the Trump Administration expected Iran to cry uncle quickly. It also seems the US did not anticipate Russia actively cooperating with Iran with targeting and weapon availability.

I would suspect Russia is also keeping Cuba informed about stockpiles of US weapons, so that Trump's threats of "you're next" might not cause much consternation in Havana.....nor Ecuador, nor Yemen, nor Nigeria, nor Iraq, nor Syria, nor Venezuela, nor Somalia, nor any other country Trump has already attacked or might plan to attack.

The Iranian leadership killed 30,000 or so of its own citizens in recent protests. That should have suggested to Trump that they really are not fazed by continued aerial bombing that will kill civilians as well as bad guys. Iran is in survival and martyr mentality.

It's kind of like that famous scene in the first Indiana Jones, when some guy brandishes a sword and shows off his skill with it. Jones just pulls out a gun and shoots him. Iran seems to be baiting the attackers to shoot their load, and then it will take its time and hit targets to cause the greatest economic damage. (The Qatar Finance Ministry issued a dire warning about possible economic consequences if the war continues.) Iran also is bating the US to put boots on the ground, assuming that will enrage the American public.

Fighting an asymmetrical war, one relies on whatever relative advantage it has. With Russian help, Iran has an additional advantage it's unlikely Trump anticipated.
