Never has Pax Judiaca ever been so brutally exposed as it is today. My wife who rarely talks about anything other than her love of Lisa is very angry at Trump and Isarel. There are conflicting reports of what happened in the Pretti and Good cases. I'm not saying the officers' actions were 100% correct, only that Pretti and Good weren't shot while peacefully protesting.

I am owning up to necessity for the Israeli government and IDF to protect Israel and the lives of its citizens. This isn't the thread to debate land acquisition in Israel 76 years ago. I will note that most, like 70% to 80%, of the land in Mandatory Palestine had been owned not by Arabs but the Ottoman Empire and then by the British Empire once the U.K. got the League of Nations' Mandate for Palestine.

What would become the State of Israel had been awarded some of its territory by the U.N. in its partition plan and Israel won more land in the war that followed its founding. Palestinians seldom owned the land from which they fled or were forced to vacate.

The need to create a Jewish homeland and Jewish-majority state overrode the right of Arabs to continue to occupy land in Israel,

Fair enough just stop keep dragging the rest of the wrold into your security concerns - Iramn et al are notr threat to us - "you" stirring up the hornet's nest is and we are all starting to pay for this and let Iran get it's bomb what is sauce for the goose and all that. Iran has found it's key if the US walks away the Hormuz is it's bomb to threaten the world at will. Better for all it gets a real one and settles down.
