Just watched an American analyst being quizzed......he said........."America is brilliant at winning battles, no one is better, but they are the worst in the world at actually winning wars"

Nice America doesn't win at all cost. Below is what it is like to lose a war and what superpowers did to the losers prior to the USA becoming "THE" superpower. The world is not as destructive and America has the means to do much worse to Iran than what was done to Germany. America has many faults but it could be much much worse.

My parents and brother were from Brooklyn and I was born in New Jersey. I spent a lot of time in NYC working and visiting, and never felt any fear. the only thing that scared me was a rat as big as a small dog. The same with the south side of San Antonio and downtown Houston. Don't look for trouble and never travel alone anywhere, including Thailand in the cities.

Did you ever take a New York taxi? The couple I got smelled worse than the London Tube.

Many times, along with driving a businessman from India around in his new Caddy and Mercedes with German interior wording. Most times I or friends went there to eat or watch the Mets play, or to visit relatives in Brooklyn and Staten Island. Some taxis smelled terrible, along with going into apartment buildings.
