If she came after him with a knife (as someone stated above), that could be his blood. In fact, his case would be improved immensely if it was his blood, and if he had a stab wound or 2.

But that should all be in the pathologist's report. Until that's released, it's all a guess, except the part about her being underage. And she may have fake ID. It's been known to happen.
