Where would he get the funds to compensate ?

Win the Thai lottery ?

SoutheastAsians & Pacific Islanders

He may have money. I've seen no suggestion that he's short of funds. I did see in one report that he owns a farm back home.

If that one was manslaughter and he got 5 years, if this latest case ends up in a guilty murder charge, he should get a lot more than 5 years. Far more serious charge.

I remember that other case, I think he got out after 4 years.

I seem to be seeing daily uptaes from both Aus/uk/other sources, all focussing on his sleazy behaviour online, bars and with other bar girls.

However its kind of typical behaviour of many sexpats, and it doesnt really prove anything.

Some sources are saying that he claims that she attacked him with a knife, so the self defence-defence is possible

If you believe that story there is cheese on the moon.

Wouldn't surprise me, if they got into an argument over money

Let's hope this Aussie Brit launches a GoFundMe. I'd happily donate so he walks with a reduced sentence, his greedy parents can buy the pickup truck of their dreams, and Aussie Brit gets a brand new suitcase.

You'll maybe have to find some other way to happily help him:

GoFundMe strictly prohibits raising money for the legal defense of alleged violent crimes, terrorism, or the promotion of illegal activities, violence, and harassment. If a campaign violates these policies, GoFundMe will remove the page, block donations, issue refunds, and may share information with law enforcement.

Just a slip of a girl, defending himself without even injuring her would have been easy!
