Forum Hanging

Featured Replies

I've had troubles loading the forum the last two days, other sites seem fine though.

Here in Thailand no problems, just as normal, fast and slow, depends which line I am on... :D

No Hang-ings as yet, shoot-tings are par for the course BTW :o

Kan Win :D

Ping times show 236ms with 10% packet loss, traceroute normal.

10mbit connection, trying two different DNS providers.

No server problems, load normal, ping and tracert from Thailand to Singapore normal. Might be your connection or ISP?

cdnvic, Just an idea: Try clear the cache, might help.

Tried the above. Seems to be some issue with Starhub as I can't load their site very well either but other servers hosted in Singapore are doing fine.

Could you please email me a tracert - admin[at]thaivisa.com

TIA!

Cheers

Spoke too soon :o

Sounds like someone is fiddling with the routing tables somewhere. Did you run a tracert and see if it changes when normal vs bad?

That's what I suspected. Not an ISP issue as it's the same at work with a different provider.

Traceroute doesn't show much in the way of irregularities but I've gotten anywhere from 10-30% packet loss on pings.

A have sent a ticket to Starhub NOC in Singapore, will revert ASAP

Spoke to soon also, very slow here now.

Pings, tracer routes, bits and DNS and 10% packet loss, wow, sounds something out of a war movie and I have no idea what was just said.

Just got answer from our provider, after investigating logs and checking hardware. No issues here!

This might be your ISP having problems or the routing to our servers.

Still no problems here in Cha-Am tonight, same speed as normal.

Will check it out in Phuket tomorrow for all, once I get there.

I'll cross my fingers :o
