Good question. The superbikes seem to be more comptetitive / exciting this year (so i've heard since we only get 30 seconds of coverage a week from Tru)....but MotoGP is the big time. You have to figure if does well he'll get a factory ride in a year or two- could be a move up with Yamaha when Rossi leaves or Honda, or even Kawasaki, who seem to be getting serious. He's teamed with Edwards before. There won't be too much pressure on him to win right away, just improve.

Tech-3 is supposed to be a factory satellite team but l thinks lt's unlikely he will get the same parts as Rossi.

Then there is the tyres at the moment it looks like they will be running Michelin, although this is not 100% yet, Bridgestone are the tyres to have without a doubt so not sure this is his dream move.

You're right about Tech-3 being a sattelite team, I should have said first line factory team. And yeah, especially if he's on Michelins he wont be expected to pick up many podium finishes, just learn and improve. 2009 he would then move up and team with Lorenzo- can't see Lorenzo and Rossi staying together as a team, Rossi has already said he isnt thrilled with Lorenzo.

Toseland seems to be following in the footsteps of Neil Hodgesin, Bayliss and a few others who want the big time in Moto GPs,and i dont blame him, Moto GP is the top of any riders career, BUT to think that your bike is 18th on the grid and thats where you might hopefully finnish the race is a defeatist attitude, I dont like or dislike Carl Fogarty, but his attitude was always right, to win races!!! If Toseland can adopt this attitude against all the odds, then he might get somewhere..
