Possibly, but I meant over a longer period of time. Like a change in how people are behaving. Thai people have always been fairly well known for not wanting to make a fuss or escalate things (less something bad happens to them), but is seems like this is changing. -

5 year multiple entry DTV visa (Destination Thailand) from 2024-xx-xx
When applying in Laos do you: 1 - List permanent address in Laos as your guesthouse and provide the booking 2 - List it as the western country you're from originally. Haven't lived there for over a decade. All I have to show is a drivers licence. 3 - Thai address. Current rental contract or tabian ban. I'm guessing this is a big no no even though for most people it is the truthful answer.
