Settle Down In Chiengrai

My husband and I are going to move to Chiengrai. We have a piece of land that we immediately want to build our little house once we arrive the city. Can somebody suggest a nice place for 2-3 month rent in the city? My husband is a farang? I am Thai, of course.

May I suggest staying in a hotel for a few days so you can personally visit rental agents in Chiang Rai and see what they have on offer?

I would also suggest you find reasonable priced hotel for a while.

Chiang Rai condo has appartments( smallish) for rent for about 4500 baht a month + electric .

Lalita appartments behind Wiang Inn hotel for about 3000 baht and Lali appartments behind Chiang Rai hospital also around 3000 baht.

I already feel Chiengrai hospitality and warm welcoming. That's why I decide to settle down in Chiengrai instead of Bangkok.

Wow! Look nice indeed. Is the place 2km north, south, west, or east ??? I was in Chiengrai a couple time during the past years and usually stayed at Rim Kok -- once at Wieng Inn.
