I just got a warning on the Bedlam index that said, 'This website is using a scripted window to ask you for information. If you trust this website, click here to allow scripted windows.' I know it is not akin to faking the moonlanding or putting a CIA assassin behind the grassy knoll, but the conspiracy theorists among us must have some thoughts on this?

I'd like to know why, on the General forum page yesterday, in the "Google Ads" menu bar there was an ad for "Thai Bar Girls". Against forum rules ?

The menu bar is absent today.

One of the mods said somewhere that they had decided to relax the rules on discussion of BGs. Perhaps this may have been a part of the reason. In any event, the rule was evidently introduced for a reason in the first place, so it will be interesting to see how long the relaxation of it lasts (probably as long as the gooooooogle adds do).

I love my bar gals......hehehe

You sure like to spread that snap around, Pete. Anonymity not a big issue for you, then? :o

Ping, Naaaaaaaaaah, no problem.

Anyway, why are people so paranoid about being faceless?

Ashamed of themselves I suppose.

If a TV memeber comes up to me and introduces themselves, great, hopefully they do not have a grudge to make.......lol.

We have met, I met many at TV BBQ, why worry.?

I think there was a thread on this subject in Bedders some time ago. The problem is that with these websites, you are bound to get a handful of ratbags in, but you are probably right - I'm a born again cynic.

DAGNABBIT!! What is it about some men here and extreme BO?!

I just got in the elevator at my apartment a few minutes ago, just as an expat resident (hes been here at least a year or more..so i imagine he has acclimatised by now)got out. He's one of the non-friendly ones too..is adamant to not smile and if you even ask him something as simple as "what floor" he grunts and will lean over to push the button himself...but thats irrelevant. Hes always had a bit of a strong smell..but today..i get on the elevator..and wOAh..head and legs go light..must grab on to support railing...super potent body odour.... :D

There is another guy whos quite young, but i forgive because he is new here...but he should start thinking about sorting it out. I usually know when he has been in the area even when he is nowhere to be seen. =x. One time my bf with his super sensitive nose actually refused to get into the elevator with him..just took one look and said "ill walk". I felt so bad for the guy..but maybe he didnt even realise. :o

Personally im not ashamed of myself, but I am shy, and I am very careful of letting others on here know who i am. Ive never been a fan of being publicly recognised either (not that that would happen particularly of course). During my Art School days I did several different projects, and kept getting my noggin in the local rag. Even on that tiny scale I didnt enjoy the recognition it brought me. I would hate to be stopped in the street by someone i didnt know saying "Oi! you're that eek person, aint ya!" :o Plus..although there are many lovely people on TV and in CM im wary of the ones who might freak me out.

At this point may i just say in particular how lovely Priceless is. That meeting was unexpected, at a place where we have a shared interest in, and for me, thats how the best sort of meetings turn out.

To each, his/her own, I guess.

Extremely unlikely for summun to recognise me.

Not being a resident in LoS.

Visiting only a month at a time, possibly two.

Eclipse mints make me go to the toilet.

Strange place to keep mints.

Your feeling was very much shared, quite lovely meeting you in person. Here's a picture that ties in with our mutual interest, though not with that particular place:

Cats are evil self serving selfish parasites.

They appear when they hear the fridge door open, MEOOOWWWWWWWWW.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best cats, like possums, are dead ones.

Cats prey on native fauna, KILL them all.
