Shoe Repairer

Featured Replies

I know this is going to make me sound cheap but I'm looking for some one who can do a bit of shoe repairs.

I've got big feet and only buy footwear in Australia. There's no problem with the shoes, I only wear them when I go out, but my preferred day to day wear are open scuffs that I buy for about $35 a pair. They are name brands like Nike and Adidas but what p!sses me off is that the uppers separate from the sole before the sole wears out. My latest pair have started to go and I thought I'd have a try at getting them repaired, maybe some of that special glue they use may do the trick.

Thanks mate, I'll check it out next week.

On Banpaprakan Rd, just west of the main PratuSiri Intersection (FourLenz Tours, !st CR Church, Fat Free Bikes, honda, Money Massage, for sale sandwich works), past Honda and another motorcycle shop (I think - on where to find candle baloons i referred you to a block west of the main market, when it's only the Trirat Rd on the west side of it - and they're for sale many places on the east side of Hwy 1 to Maejaan)... south side of the road on the sidewalk

there's a guy sits there repairing shoes. Used to be by Karekaron. I think it's the same guy, not sure. Anyway, I used his svc the other day. All fine.

tennis shoes though, I don't know.

Just bought the biggest they had at what was once called Yimsawat (don't panic - membership still applies) and that wouldn't be big enough for you! Boots 'chemist' has insole inserts, thought they told me they haven't... B350!!! much more than the good tennis shoes I got at what was yimsawat!!! (that was B280) Got new strings for my old ones (B20) at the opposite end of the Soi across from the ThaRotNoi main market, road that goes to the Taweekit store... anyway, west side, market end, is a shoe store. Again, the biggest they have will fit my feet but not yours!!! but maybe you can order.

the shoe guy did my repairs in an hour (B20).

Thanks Joel, I go that way to buy goodies at A and P bakery now anyway so I'll take a look.

Right beside Bangkok Bank along Thanalai Road is a shoe repair stall. The shoe repair man is a cripple (polio from the looks of it). Have been patronizing him for years.
