Immigration In Thailand

Hi,

I am arriving in Thaliand as under

Bombay - Bangkok 6th Nov - 5.30 am (Thai - Flight 318)

Bangkok -Phuket 6th Nov - 8 am (Thai - different flight than above )

Phuket - Bangkok 10th Nov - 13.45 pm (Thai Flight)

Bangkok - Bombay 13th Nov - 7.30 pm (Thai Flight 317)

I want to know :

If immigration on my first arrival in Thailand will happen at Bangkok or Phuket. Once I land in Bangkok on 6th, do I go to a domestic terminal and board flight to Phuket without immigration and then do the immigration/custom formality at Phuket Intl. Airport (is this correct)

Sorry - this may sound silly and very basic question but am travelling with a 2 year old baby and want to be avoid confusion. I have already taken a visa from the Thai Consulate in Bombay.

You will clear in Bangkok if your BKK-HKT flight is domestic. You aren't likely to catch an international flight in BKK that stops in HKY along the way..
