a few days ago I did find a cheap airfare London - Bangkok on some finish site but couldn't buy it because I don't live in the scandinavian countries. They have their own policies - but if is chance we can take advantage of those prices. Searching the net all over can safe.

Simple fact - air travel originating in the country of purchase will always be lower due to IATA regulations which generally force tickets purchased outside the departure country to be quoted at full fare. With very few exceptions, you should always purchase your ticket from your country of departure.

As for cars - didn't know that. Very interesting, but as I don't rent cars I've not been able to personally benefit from those cool tips.
