My Nose Keeps Running

Featured Replies

I fly from hot, sunny Phuket to cold England for 2 days and my nose runs all the time

I fly from rainy Phuket to hot Bangkok and my nose runs again

But I don't have symptoms of a cold, no headache, fever etc - just a runny nose.

After a few days in each new environment, my nose settles down again.

Any ideas how to treat this - short of sticking plugs up each nostril?

Claratyne

Non Drowsy relief from Allergy or Hay Fever Symptoms.

Caution: Pregnancy,Lactation. Contains Loratadine 10mg. Also known as Claratin in some countries. Claratyne relieves symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (hay fever), such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, and burning or itchy eyes. Claratyne may also be used to relieve symptoms associated with a skin condition called urticaria; these symptoms include itching, redness and lumps on the skin called hives. Claratyne belongs to a class of medicines know as antihistamines. Antihistamines help reduce the allergic symptoms by preventing the effects of a substance called histamine, which is produced by the body. There is no evidence that Claratyne is addictive.
