Where To Get Mosquito Screens In Phuket?

Featured Replies

Hi,

recently moved to Phuket and I am looking for mosquito screens for our windows. We do have these brown slidable windows, where there is some extra space to put in fitted framed slidable mosquito screens. Asked at a few places but nobody had them or could help.

Any ideas where to get them, how much they should cost? If anybody has the name of mosquito screen in Thai, that would make it perfect.

Thanks a lot for any help.

Yoggie

Plenty of places make the doors & screens all over the island. Best you find a supplier closest to you. Where are you located ? I might know a local place in Patong, Kata, or Chalong areas. We pay about 1,200 baht for one panel.

There is a home grown factory in Villa 2, Phuket Town. 300 baht a panel. But most glass places make them as well. Dirt cheap.

Hi,

@ LivinginKata - I am between Phuket Town and Chalong, so if you could give me the place in Chalong that would be great. Thanks.

@ Somtamnication - thanks for this one - I will check it out.

Regards,

Yoggie

The guys who build all our aluminium doors, windows, and screens are just off Chalong roundabout, about 100m into Patak Rd, about opposite the 7-11. But there others along Cho Fa West if you keep your eyes open.

The 1,200 baht is for sliding door screen panels. Don't know what you get the mentioned 300 baht.

Mosiquoto screen in Thai is something (?) like ... Mung Luad
