For Ubon Ratchathani, look east of Bangkok over towards the Lao border and the Mekon River.  (Udorn Thani is north of Bangkok).

Thai Air Asia has one flight a day from Swampyboom, BKK, to Ubon at 1615 hrs.

There's six (6) flights per day from Don Muang, DMK, via TG, Nok Air, Thai Air Asia.  I like Nok Air, have used them several times to Udorn and C. Mai.

Depending on time of arrival at BKK, just an hour taxi ride from BKK to DMK, after clearing Immigration/Customs and baggage claim, of course.  An option?

Ubon Ratchathani (UBP)

TG flies 3 times a day from Don Muang (morning, afternoon [14.00], evening).

Air Asia flies twice a day from BKK. BKK-UBP leaves BKK at about 14.00 (the return to BKK is around 15.30) and there is also a morning flight. Sorry, I picked up a little timetable at Ubon last week but can't lay my hands on it now...

Recently Nok Air started (2 per day?) from ?

Cheers,

Mike
