Is There An Observation Window

Featured Replies

I want to take the kids up there to see the planes, so I'd like to find out if it's possible to see them first. If not where's the best place to get a view of incoming or departing a/c, apart from my balcony at home which is just a wee bit too far!

Meanwhile for enthusiasts, there's a great page for a load of good wallpaper and 2 really impressive screensavers of the new SIA A380. There are also some VDO shots on a linked gallery page:

:o

observation window ? Yes, but it only overlooks the apron (well, the one that i found a Suv did)

Look for the lift or escalator behind Etihad check in, go up 1 floor & there's your viwing area. As said, you can't see very much . You can't go outside & there's no seats (or very few) seats. All in all, completely naff!

Google "plane spotting bkk" for various recommendations.

Normal operating mode is departures on runway 19L, arrivals on 19L and 19R. (from north to south).
