Simple Question, Can Anyone Access Www.stockbrokers.barclays.co.uk

Well, I guessed it might be too good to be true and once again I cant access my stockbroker this evening.

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=153130 heres the thread detailing my woes so far.

And the proxy server I used to prove to TT&T that the stockbrokers.barclays website was up and running appears to be blocked too.

Conspiracy?

Can anyone else access www.stockbrokers.barclays.co.uk using TT&Ts Maxnet internet in the afternoon or evening?

Thanks again for reading.

No Problem with Firefox Beta 1 at TRUE in Samut Prakarn!

No problem at all for the homepage (upgraded Maxnet 1024/512, works with both Firefox and Explorer) - don't know what will happen if you try to log in, but it looks more as a problem with your computer. Maybe you can try to install Firefox (or if you already have it, re-install)

And the proxy server I used to prove to TT&T that the stockbrokers.barclays website was up and running appears to be blocked too.

Conspiracy?

No, probably not, Big Brother over here loves to block proxy servers - you know military government and so ..., so a BIG Khap Khun Kap from them for informing them about the proxy :o

This is what they say on their website about known problems with wireless routers :

Issues and Workarounds

We've found several issues on the site which may cause you problems. We're working to resolve these, but as a short term measure, we want to make you aware of the problems and where there are ways to work around them. We'll advise once an issue has been resolved, by posting a note on the Message Centre.

Using Wireless Routers

If you have difficulty accessing our site using a wireless router the problem is possibly related to the router’s firmware. Firmware is a set of instructions which are permanently imbedded in the circuitry of computer hardware. These instructions can be updated by downloading a specific file from the manufacturer of the product.

If you are using a Belkin router, to discuss any issues please contact their Specialist support staff by going to their website at –

* www.belkin.com/uk/support/tech/networkingsupport.asp

If you have a NetGear router and require support, please contact them at their website -

* http://kbserver.netgear.com/main.asp

If you’re affected, please email us through ‘Contact Us’ or call our Internet Helpdesk team with details of when and how the issue affects you and the make and model of your router.

Okay from Cha am ...

"Create a portfolio

To reiterate what marcus said, I have found that firefox will sometimes keep a 404 in the cache, and even though the site is available at a later time, will not show unless the cache is flushed.
