OK, if the Government sue someone for to downloading prrated stuff it should be ok and legal!

But if the Government cut the whole Internet access, that's a complete different question! In my point of view it's illegal as well because the user has paid for an service by some institution and has the legal right to use this service. The real question will be: It is allowed for the Government to cut down the Service on it's own behalf?

That would be the same if someone drives a Car without License and the Government will confiscate the car in case the Driver is stopped and found guilty to drive without License!

technology naturally moves towards censure so this WILL eventually happen in most countries imo. in other words, enjoy it while you can.

It depends on the leader, his cabinet and the style of government.
