An American friend of mine now living in OZ use to fly choppers out of Udon and R&R in Pattaya and was amazed when I mentioned 2nd and 3rd Rds He tells me when he was there there was only 1 Rd and 1"decent' Hotel. He was absolutely gob smacked when I showed him maps of Pattaya includind all the development on the dark side over Sukumvit Rd.

looking at the last of the 3 pictures I think it is from the 70 ish era at least looking at the model of the motorbikes.

Ask him if he new Happy Land/Newlands they were secondary R&R in Bang Chang
