Finding The Best English Speaking Mobile Phone Carrier

Featured Replies

Hi to all members.

I am new in this very interesting forum. I live in Bangkok 3 years, but found this forum only yesterday.

My user name tells you what I am doing. So, if someone has a question - maybe I can help too.

My question:

I want to find out the best thai mobile phone carrier who provide me with good english billing service. Presently I am using AIS and half of my billing information is in Thai. So I am missing a lot of specials.

I am also not happy with their rates.

Can anyone help me?

prepress

I find the AIS call center speaks english very well + they will tell you about promotions and switch you to them if you wish. Pre-paid might have better deals though. DTAC post paid has very good deals as well + the call center also speaks english very well.

The english-speaking call center is actually much better than the Thai-speaking one. The Thai call center often has long wait times whereas english is almost always available instantly :o

DTAC have good english speaking call centre and can give you bills in English if you want (though you might have to ask them for it). They actually rang me up once and said - we noticed you never pay on time, would you like your bills in English?

Yes thanks! (But I still don't pay on time - why don't they have a pay by credit card facility over the phone - its a bloody phone company for gods sake).
