Pounamu (New Zealand greenstone) is a highly prized hard nephrite jade found in New

Zealand and parts of Australia. It is composed of chlorite and epidote which

makes the stone a mid-to-dark green colour.

Not ya normal jade. Maoris made weapons and axes from greenstone.

Thanks for the info ( interesting ) . Also got a white amulet , think its bone , you know pretty big flat designs ,

love to where them , would be a nice Cristmas present for someone though .
