I've really been enjoying the veggie Be Bim Bop at the Korean food kiosk in the food court directly in front of Tops in Kad Suan Kaew. If you like Korean food its really good, only 50 baht, and the woman who usually works there is clearly m..aking it with care and love......

Be Bim Bop is kind of a mix of various vegetables on top of rice with a pungent misoish sauce/paste. Its a kind of acquired taste.

I like the Nam Prik at Blue Diamond and the Pad Thai at Kuhn Churn's also.

The non fried spring rolls at Aum with the carrot sauce is great.

There's a little place down Soi 9 Moonmuang, I think called Boporn but I'm not sure. Its about 100 metres down on the left hand side, if you look in there's a picture of a Burmese dancing girl on the wall and a picture of a trio of monks on the back wall. It's an OK clean place and a good variety of tasty dishes. I wouldn't make a special journey, but if you happen to be vegetarian and walking around that area feeling a bit peckish, it's worth a try. Mostly about 40-60 Baht last time I popped in.

Aum, right by Thae Pae gate, has a new veggie burger under development. They are still working on the recipe, but it is GREAT!

I was just at Aum and they told me that it is mixed with tofu and most veggie burgers around here aren't.

In San Francisco, there were some GREAT veggie burgers made with tofu, so I am hoping for the best! :o
