I am returning from a very tough hitch at work. Providing consulting services for Chevron has taken it's toll on my nerves, and I really need to be completely pampered upon my arrival home. I fear that if I don't recieve a day of pampering, I may explode as my avatar seems to do so often.

I would really like to have someone walk on my back. I saw that in a movie "the break-up" and really think I would enjoy this. I also would like to have a mani and a pedi, facial treatments, and whatever else they can do.

I have lived here for a while and I have never been to a spa, sent the wife a few times, but I have never been. It is time for me to go, and would like to know of one that has a lot of stuff, price not important.

Non-Related- I would like to have some Big Bike Rims Powder Coated, or possibly chromed. Would anyone know of a service on the Island that could help me?

mind and body (or body and mind - not sure) in karon has a good reputation.

banyan tree also has a day spa.

there are so many around but it would be worth going on personal recommendation.

personally, i go to hiranyikara, which is a gay spa, on soi bang wad. they have couples treatment rooms, and you can request a female masseur. nice if you go as a couple. its NOT a sleazy sauna type place either. its very tasteful and lovely.

I really like the one on the Chaofa Nai road beside the school on the left as you drive south - can't remember the dam_n name (Donna?). It's sort of in a Moo Ban but it's really great. It's got the pampering rooms - my hubby and I went there for our honeymoon - two to a room. Then it has a massive power water pool with jaccuzi stuff and water jets, then several sauna rooms and a huge normal swimming pool. Your 'assistant' follows you around and gives out freash towels etc when you need them. I love it
