I'm having a real battle here!

Printing is not exactly my forte so please help.

Basically I work in RAW mode via Adobe lightroom. My set colourspace is ProphotoRGB. (if that's applicable). The printer I use is an Epson stylus photo R210.

What do I set the printer default to and what settings do I apply when printing through Lightroom?

All the rules say "set compatible colour space, switch off printer management, tick ICM profile and no colour management" - I did and it didn't work!

It's worth mentioning here that the printer settings DO NOT contain ProphotoRGB to marry with my colourspace.

It occurred to me that I should "convert" my shots to Srgb profile then export them to print and thus allow myself to ability to marry the printer settings with this workspace. Alas, it didn't work either! And neither does anything else I've tried! Whatever setting I impose to print via lightroom fail!

I'm not concerned about exhibition quality prints; just being able to run off a few snaps of the kids now and then

Any clues?
