Air Asia Bangkok To Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

Hi, just been looking at flights from Bangkok to Chiang Mai for my next trip in March. Air Asia have them for 399 baht (rising to just over a 1000 with tax etc) just wondering if I should book them right away - if the fares are likely to start to rise nearer to the date. I would prefer to wait a little longer just in case the plans change at all - have flown with Air Asia a few times, but cant remember if they raise prices nearer to the time, any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

They do go up nearer the date - but can occasionally drop if the flight is very empty!

Friday to CM and Sunday to BKK get sold quickly.

Even at the top price the fare is not too expensive, can go up to about 1200 baht plus taxes etc.

I think the price at BKK airport before departure is about 1800 baht inclusive of all taxes etc.

They will go up quick as you are booking just before Song Kran?

Book now.

I'd be surprised if it goes lower than 1000b. If you're more than 80% sure of flying on that date, book the trip.

if u really not sure with ur plans, dont book budget airlines, or rather book it one day before or even at the airport itself.

yeah book it!. no way you can get lower than 1k all included. its always worth the risk for me.

nahh, theres a way, i got a two way bkk-cnx-bkk using nok air, for 1200 baht, all inclusive, and thats less than 1000 baht eh?or 600 baht each way to be accurate.

not Nok to BKK - but the old airport, is that DMK????
