The LG Blue Ray/BD Multi Drive is available now at IT-City. Cost app. THB 16,000.00 and one 25 GB Mediaapp. THB 1,300.00

The spec as following:

- World’s First 4x Blu-ray Disc Writing Speed (BD-R)

- 25GB of Storage on BD-R / BD-RE

1. CPU : Intel Pentium D 3.2GHz or equivalent (Recommended: Pentium D 3.4GHz or higher)

2. O/S : Windows XP (Home / Professional / Media Center Edition) with SP2

3. RAM : 1GB or more

4. HDD : 30GB or more of available space (60GB for Blu-ray Disc authoring)

Aha, thanks for the info...indeed, consoles seem the way to go. I was thinking of picking up an XBox360 and having an USB HD-DVD drive shipped (added bonus that I can also connect it to PC), but the race is still too close to call.
