Featured Replies

hi ppl,

i will be landing at suvarnabhumi airport tmr and will need to get to KMITL. Visited the KMITL website but they dun offer much directions (train station mentioned but i hav no idea wat's the name of the train station at KMITL).

Both are supposedly quite near each other but i dun suppose i can walk from suvarnabhumi airport to KMITL?

anyone knows a good way of getting from the airport to KMITL?

any help much appreciated, thanks!

taxi

Just make sure the taxi driver knows where it is :o

alright thanks, it shudnt be too difficult to get a taxi from the airport and it shudnt take too long to get there right (less then an hour)?

Search around on here first to get the usual warnings about the taxi's. If you are a first time visitor (maybe you know this already) go to the official rank outside and ignore the touts etc. You will pay a small fee there, but taxi's are very cheap anyway (and the meter will be on :o )

Its not far, but it depends on traffic; well under an hour

I will just say it again, most of them are used to heading into central Bangkok or further afield. Print off the directions you have got, in Thai for preference. At the official rank they speak "Tinglish", ask them to be sure the driver understands.
