Hi,

Skype has launched it's high quality video calls, which means 640x480 pixels (VGA) at up to 30 fps (four times better and the frame rate increases up to twice the speed compared to their standard video calls).

But it means buying an expensive Logitech webcam, the Logitech Quickcam Sphere AF, sold for 130 euros (90 £) on Skype website or a Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000, available at 80 - 100 euros in Europe.

And you need a dual core processor and of course high speed internet, more than 384 kbps which should be ok, even in Thailand.

Still, this seems interesting, so was wondering if anyone tried it yet, and if those webcams are available in Thailand?
