Hospital Recommendation In Buriram Or Surin

Featured Replies

Hi,

Me and my wife from Krasang are living in Sweden and now her brother in Krasang is ill.

I wonder if you could recommend any good hospitals in Buriram orn Surin?

He went to a hospital in Buriram (public) and they saidf he needed a heart operation. He staued for a couple of days for free in this hospital. How does it work in Thailand. Are public hosspitals for free?

Anyway, I wonder if he maybe should go to a private hospital, is it worth paying for? Or are the private hospitals just after peoples money without offering better quality than the puvblic ones?

What are your experiences?

Thanks!

i assume he is Thai and as such he should be under the 30 Bht a day plan where all he pays is the 30 bht but that is for the public/Government hospital.

I have had eye surgery in a Private Bangkok hospital and was very happy with everything care and cost. If he was told he required heart surgert he should have been told where to go for the care.

My stepson received excellent care in Huairat Public hosp. but wasn't his heart.

Ruam Phed hospital in Surin is pretty good. But a tad on the expensive side for surgery.
