Got my PC over a couple of years ago with XP Pro and no issues. WGA looked at it and all was well unbtil this week. Now it says its no good (why after 2+ years I do not know) but its annoying me more than anything.

So, does anyone know how to turn the dam_n thing off withtout a 400 line adjustment to the code ? Seems I cannot get Media Player updates either but don't know if it is all connected though I suspect it is.

I don't want to head down to Tukcom and get a disk copy and reinstall XP as I am not confident enough to do so. I just need a work around.

Thanks.

You do not indicate in your post if what you purchased installed on the system a couple years ago was Genuine Microsoft Windows or not so it is hard to offer much to help.

If it is Genuine Windows that you have then thre should be a sticker of some sort attached to the computer telling you it is Genuine and if so you can contact Microsoft Thailand and get your issue resolved.

If on the other hand it is not a Genuine version of Windows you may have an alternative option from Microsoft by reporting the dealer that you bought your computer from. This option can be examined on the Microsoft web site. Microsoft may send you a free copy of Windows as I understand the program.

Assuming that it is Genuine then a call to Microsoft Thailand will get you over the hump.

Good Luck.
