Sorry to answer a legitimate question with another question....

What for?

For a 7x4 Kilometer "large Island"?

One easily can explore in a day on foot?

There is a car ferry that leaves from Chumpon on Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays

http://www.kohtaocenter.com/kohtao/time.htm

Can't see a price though

Totster :D

Good ! i'll tell him that's possible. For the price, he'll have to contact the company on Chumpon

I don't know the reason..... and this is not my problem :o

Thanx Totster :D

Steve the price for a 4X4 will be 4000 baht. If its a pick up and it has gear in the back then expect to pay pay extra, Dont ask ! I cant figure it out either. As has been said its only a small island here with few roads. Getting a taxi everywhere you want to go wil work out a dam_n sight cheaper than the cost of getting it here and back. Drive down to Chumphon by all means then just park the car/pick up opposite the Farang bar and get the free bus to the ferry, Easy. :o
