I don't know about you guys, but lately my hangovers have been coming prematurely, usually the same night after the 6th or 7th beer. I keep getting bloody headaches. Dehydration may be a factor. Perhaps I need a new drug, rum may be the answer. But, Sangsom is out of the question.

A good quality red wine is pretty much all I'm drinking these days. I'm not talking the hoity toity, super expensive shit, just something reasonable. Australian wine is good and affordable. Red wine gives me a nice, even steady buzz that comes on faster than beer. This way I drink less liquid over the course of the night.

By drinking a lot less I don't feel so bloated and I'm not heading to the pisser nearly as much. Hangovers are not an issue if it's good red wine. I don't like white wine.

Drink a glass of water with every beer, and make sure to put ice in the beer as the Thais do. Also eat salty stuff. Another option is to buy the rehydration salt they sell at the pharmacies and have a drink of that just before you start on your p*ss.

Cheers,

Meadish

'Oxford Landing' Australian Shiraz! Lovely stuff - can't find it in Phuket. Typical Shiraz is about £5 in the UK but £8 in Thailand! And yet it only has to come half as far... :o

I was so tempted to vote Depends on its use. But decided against it and voted Yes instead. I had loads of Tequila tonight, while I had told myself I would spend no more than 2 hours at the bar. Now, I'm home totally pissed and have just cracked open another Bacardi Breezer. Anyway, spent nearly 5 hours at the bar drinking. Am I turning into an alkie or what.. :o

hi'

22 said yes ... houlala :D

so, as I know, having a drink is a social thing,

we do it knowing that we use a social drug ...

but ... this brings money to a lot of governments ... :o

and ... it costs a lot of money to a lot of governements too :D

I'm very tempted to say ...

I hope that a lot of us go back home, either walking (if being able to), or take a taxi ...

if I did not vote yes, I would have been tempted to vote, depends of it's use ...

being reasonable on drinks is not so simple, we all know this :D

well ... I hope that most of you keep it cool anyway :D

I don't mean keep the beers in the fridge

cheers

Alcohol is a drug, look at how it bends your mind. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to lay off the booze. :o
