have a fair bit of furniture coming so need a fairly large space. 160+ sq m.

budget is 55k baht.

would like something with a pool thats close to where i'm working.

have had some run ins with dodgy realtors already.

I don't know that area so well but recall looking at an apartment in a newly refurbished block - if you are looking across the river from Saphan Thaksin BTS the block is on the left set back from the river but close to the bridge. If you are set on living in that area then you are probably best served by vsiting apartments on foot - there will be an office or at least a notice board advertising rentals.

I can recommend 2 agents I have found very helpful in the past. Khun Oh at Homepacethailand.com 041541234 and a kiwi guy called Jeff Lane @ Bangkokpropertiesrus.com 0878126893 they took round to see many properties and I felt at no time pressured to accepting.

By the way the reason why I did not take the apartment there was I felt there were better areas to reside.

Good Luck BB

cheers mate,

but not looking to cross the river, staying around sathorn/silom area would be best i believe.

working the shangri-la side of the river.

thanks for the leads.

I know of an apartment close to Saphan Taksin... about 30 mins in morning rush hour.

Would take 5 mins if no traffic...

Have a pool and gym but not sure they have any rooms as big as 160sqm.

PM me if you are interested... i'll try and dig the number out...
