For anyone who hasn't seen it yet, let me refer you to Not the Nation, a la The Onion. Brilliant.

(edit: fixed the link)

bloody spammer, may you die a painful death.

You might want to correct the link.

A bit harsh don't you think?

Cheers

this is one of the most brilliant things i've read in thailand. i wonder who's behind it. sounds like something old henry beauchamp would do.

Thanks Puwa for the link.

It looks quite promising and deffinately something I have bookmarked

For entertainment purposes only. not real news, no quoted sources. But good entertainment.

Careful! Don't be too enthusiastic now :o .

I've been getting a bit tired of the (natural) bias toward US stories in The Onion and this just kicked down my bookmark list. Thanks for the link Puwa.

I see it's ©2007 - anyone know how frequently they update it?

I like it, it's a good pisstake on elements of Thailand done in a humourous and light-hearted way! :o

.... not real news, no quoted sources......

Oh, surely not?

And what do you think it is, not news realy???????

Very funny website. I loved the Sondhi article. My Thai wife and I just kept laughing.

probably worth 25 baht if it was published, unlike another weekly circulation :o

Great stuff! Had me laughing out loud. I've bookmarked the site and wish it success. And I'd love to contribute some stories of my own too!

And if you enjoyed that, try Things My Girlfriend And I Have Argued About.

No, you don't have to read the whole thing but it's a good place to visit in an idle moment. Probably makes the best sense to those of the British persuasion and before anyone asks, I have no connection with Mil's work, other than liking it.

I'll keep an eye on both as the idea is great, but the execution of humor...still needs some work. Ton of potential in the news one. Maybe the dude w/ the gf is just using 'iz Bri'ish huma an' I don't qui ge' i'. But cheers to the Not Nation dude for taking the initiative and getting it going. Hope to see alot more. For now too snorts and a hmm, but no full laughs.

sometimes the chuckle is mightier than the guffaw.

This is not Chiangmai related, so I'm moving it to General
