I'm bringing my laptopto get some work done, play music, etc. Is there a difference in the power supply? I have a fancy surge protector - should I bother bringing it? Anything else I should be aware of? thanks!

Most computers/electronics will handle 120vac-250vac inputs so

they will work in LOS. But just to be sure, check your

manual or go to the mfr website and look at the specs.

You may need a simple plug adaptor depending on your

hotel standards, but these are available at Villa, Foodland,

Tesco/Lotus, Big C or Carrefore.

I dont know where abouts in Thailand your staying, but i Strongly recommend you bring your surge protection device. Here in Phuket we get lots of power blips and surges all the time.

As Paulf stated, you will probably be just fine with getting a plug adapter to run your laptop off, these can be picked up in your airport (expensive) or once you get to Thailand (cheaper)

Welcome to Thailand, hope you enjoy your holiday :o

Just being pedantic, but drummer didn't say where he's coming from.

UK/Europe/Aus, etc with 230-240v supplies, yes I agree with what's been said.

But if he's coming from the US, a 110v surge protection device will be of no use whatsoever with a 220v supply voltage.
