I am proposing to write a series of articles on Thailand, at this point primarily concerned with personal relationships that develop between tourists and Thais. Particularly interested in those that transition from "meet in bar - GF/BF - get married - have kids -divorce" or there-abouts. Not intending to be all negative so would like to find happy endings as well.

Propose to delve into the sex tourism (male and female) aspects as well if possible.

I am looking for personal accounts mostly. I live here (KP) so I also see them daily but I was aiming to delve deeper than what is the public perception. The why if you must. What has been the upside/downside? How does a Farang/Thai relationship differ perhaps to a F/F relationship (if there is a difference).

I am interested in women who have found a Thai husband as much as men finding a Thai wife again looking at the pros and cons.

For the men, I was also interested in exploring the nature of bar girl/farang relationships, their integration into western living for instance, their acceptance by others, are there any stigmas real or perceived attached etc.

In the end I am hoping to put together 2 or 3 articles looking at different aspects.

On some of the forums there is a lot of "he didn't read the book" sort of comments over failed relationships. I was hoping to get to people for their insights before they reach that point.
