Wifi Usb Transmitter

Featured Replies

Hi there,

Have just bought a laptop and would like to connect anywhere around the house/garden.

Have read good reviews about the Hercules WIFI USB TRANSMITTER.

Does anyone know whether they are available in Pattaya?

Thanks beforehand.

Which laptop did you buy.

Just about all new laptops have in built wireless.

As for a USB wireless adapter I would imagine that they are all much of a muchness. Just make sure its USB2.0 and wireless b + g compliant.

Cheers

My laptop has wifi. I'm looking for the transmitter (not an adapter) without having to use a wifi station with router and antenna etc. so i can sit in the garden and connect without having long cables lying around.

If you google for the thing I'm looking for you'll know what I mean.

This thing is available in Europe at about 30 to 40 Euros.

Would be nice to find it here.

cheers

I have a cheap Linksys router. I plug my Crapstar (Ipstar) High Speed (joke) modem cable into it and my laptop says it has an excellent signal even out in my workshop.

If it's available in Pattaya it will be in Tuk Com on South Pattaya Road which is Pattaya's smaller equivalent of Pantip Plaza.

Well guys, been on the website of the manufacturers and it's not available in Asia yet.

Guess I should have done that first before posting here.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

cheers
