moving to los next year i believe will get hit by customs bringing desktop with household belongings i know laptops get hot even in england will i have problems in los. tiny are doing some awesome deals on laptops so i was thinking of getting one and just bring it over as hand luggage.

You will certainly want to have air conditioning here in LOS

So it is really not a problem.

I bet the specs show most laptops will run fine out of

doors as the battery is not likely to last more than a

few hours anyway.

A good reason to bring one over with you is that the

prices for tech items in LOS is some 20% or more than

in UK and USA.

I wouldn't touch Tiny with a barge pole,Get a decent make,as Tiny use inferior parts,but at£999 you can get a decent Sony on Ebay,Do a search for Sonystyle as the seller,They are actually Sony Europe,I got mine for £850,

Sony Vaio,2.8 processor,512 ram,upgradable to 1024,Windows XP Home,60 GB,DVD Burner,LCD 15 inch screen,1years warranty,WIFI,Do a search on Sony Vaio PCG-GRT915M,as they are amny other things on this laptop,that i cannot remember or do not know about.
