Get To Phi Phi Island From Bkk In One Day?

Featured Replies

Looking for ideas and suggestions .

We hope to come from BKK on a morning flight with additional hopes of making the last ferry from Russada Pier to Phi Phi Island. It looks very tight time wise. Anyone have any ideas about what flight I should book with what airline or what is the latest I can depart to get to Phi Phi Island and by what means other than seaplane which I think is a bit pricey?

Maybe think about a flight to Krabi in the AM and get a boat out of there.

Cheers,

You should depart BKK by about 09.00.

Doubt you would make the 12.30 ferry on a 10.00 depart BKK.

Always a private boat hire, but expensive for small number of people.

Thanks so much for your replies. I understand it takes an hour to get from Phuket air port to the ferry and then an hour and half by ferry then I must take a longboat from there. So it looks like I better enjoy the trip there becasue there seems to be no shorter way with out taking the seaplane for 5,000baht each.mmmmmmmm
