Nemesis Posted July 16, 2003 Posted July 16, 2003 Topic and title says it all really. Can a letter to the Thai consulate requesting a non imm. B visa be written in English? Any other documents needed other than the letter and a passport and pictures? Thanks.
Sunbelt Asia Posted July 16, 2003 Posted July 16, 2003 The letter should be in English. All depends on what Consulate you go to...many will require tax returns, shareholder list, and by-laws of the sponsoring company.
george Posted July 16, 2003 Posted July 16, 2003 Normally, a supporting letter in English will do, at least for a single entry 90 days NON-B. What Embassy/Consulate are you planning to apply at?
PedSuam Posted July 16, 2003 Posted July 16, 2003 I hear from a few informed sources that the Hull consulate is the place to apply to for best chances. Not sure if this is case or not, or the reason why, but I won't ask too many public questions about it ::
MrSam Posted July 16, 2003 Posted July 16, 2003 If it applies, you may also need a copy of the contract the company is giving you. The last time I applied for a non-B, I was asked for this. I was only able to bypass this because the ambassador (relation through marriage) told them to forget it. I was only asked this once, and you might not be asked, but it is a possibility. It's always good to have everything covered in the case that you are asked.
Nemesis Posted July 20, 2003 Author Posted July 20, 2003 I'm planning to go to the Ventiene Consulate. Where is all the information I need to bring with me found? Thai source. I know that the info may vary consulate to consulate, but at least I'll have a reason for bringing what I bring. Thanks.
