I sincerely hope you are not planning to teach English in Thailand. Your post is riddled with grammatical errors. Also, this is the Isaan forum. You might consider posting on the Teaching forum or business forum.

And, apart from the grammatical errors.............

My wife, who is a teacher in Issan, looked at your post and laughed.

Go to the forum about teaching in Thailand, not here. Many have been before you :o

Quick answer: There is no special tax rate for teachers.

Particulars are taxed between 0 and 37% in Thailand.

Normally, the first 200,000 baht of earnings per year is free of tax.

You should be between 0 and 10% if you earn between 200,000 and 1,000,000.

Let say you earn 35,000 per month. 35K X 12 months = 420 000. - 200,000 = 220,000 taxable.

Calculate 10% which will be around 22K of tax per year but you have other deductions and it's a little bit more complicated.

This is an approximate amount. Taxes are paid around April.

Issanlawyer is correct.

Given the rates for teachers in Issan, you will pay next to nothing.

My wife earns more than the Farang teachers they employ locally, and she pays 24,000B in tax a year

play nice guys.

im sure op didnt post to be ridiculed......................lool

"Taxes are paid around April."

That's a pretty loose call for a profession known for dotting all the i's.

Taxes are normally due before the end of March. There's probably a penalty if you wait until April.
