All Tt&t Lines Are Open To Asdl

Featured Replies

TT&T only leases the uplinks to Bangkok from TOT. They have their own exchanges/switches.

In most places you just have a TOT main cable running next to a TT&T main cable...

They don't neceserally go to the same exchange!

And yes, they didn't invent the word "service" yet at TOT :o

Hi Monty!

Guess what.. i'm on ADSL.

And you we're right.. it is much faster and better.

Beer today?

Any1 know what the name of TT&T's smtp-server?

Best regards,

NoBuzz

Mail server depends on your ADSL provider not on your line provider, are you on JI net HI net?

If you are on HiNet then it is mail.cattelecom.net however it is constantly added to the MRBS Blacklist and very often your mail will no get through.

If you want one that will work from anywhere try www.smtp.com

FourBaht,

I'm on jinet.

Just installed a smtp-server on my machine.

If i can't get that to work i'll give smtp.com a try.

Thanx for the info.

Regards,

NoBuzz

Hi Nobuzz,

Got very busy for a couple of days, lots of people on the boat :D

Yep, it's really the swift reaction of adsl which makes your day ... pure downloads clock a bit slower compared to the satellite...

Dr. John, I clock downloads at between 20 and 25 kbps, depending on time of day...

I have the 256/128 ji-net compax.

I bet Nobuzz is doing his speed tests at the moment :D (Think he got the 512/256 compax)

Nobuzz, I;ll give you a ring when I'm ready for that beer :o:D

Hi guys.

Speeds are all over the place.

It seems to depend on where I go rather than on local issues.

I've had 60 kB/s from the states and from Singapore (logitech).

I haven't seen more than 20 kB/s from Europe.. yet.

Service drops every now and then. 3 times today.

But only 5-10 mins each time.

I haven't used the service enough to to get the feel for trends,

so this is all i have for now.

Monty..

Good to hear business is good. :D

I'll wait for that call. :o
