How is the wheather in Chiang Rai vs Bangkok-Pattaya? I now its more cold in the morning and night time, but in general, how is it? More cold, more rain?

Hmm. More better how :D Explain please. I start to get relly tired of this intense heat down here, to day 35 in the shadow. Will I have the same problems up in Chiang Rai? I now you have some warm up in the north to, but is it the same as down here in Bangkok/Pattya area?

It is about 2 degrees hotter up here than Bangkok in hot and rainy season (at least in Chiang Mai).

The weather in Chiang Rai province is very nice. At day time, yes, it can be hot, but you can breath... :o (minor detail). In winter time it can be cold.....brrrrrr, especially in the evenings and nights, and early mornings of course.
